"The process of firing a wood kiln is not for the faint of heart. The amount of preparation is staggering. Wood must be cut and stacked, the kiln prepared, and then the mixing of clay, slips and glazes takes place. Studio time follows and it's treasured. I make functional objects that fit my life. Cooking and gardening are great interests of mine and my pots reflect this"
